Working behind the scenes

Building experience
with campus jobs

Thousands of Carolina students are building their resumes by working part-time jobs and internships on campus. Their positions range from resident advisors helping Tar Heels navigate campus life to lab assistants helping conduct cutting-edge research to physical trainers and instructors teaching fitness classes at the Student Recreation Center.

Whether it’s repairing books and creating exhibits in the Wilson Special Collections Library or teaching sewing classes at makerspacers, Carolina students are working alongside faculty and staff to keep the University moving.
