Students participate in virtual Meet Your Legislators Week

A group of 33 UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy students recently met via Zoom with 13 representatives and senators from the NC General Assembly during Meet Your Legislators Week.

This initiative was a collaborative effort between students from the Carolina Association of Pharmacy Students and the Student Senate. In these meetings, students spoke about several topics, including their passion for the pharmacy profession, current Collaborative Practice Legislation, Pharmacy Benefit Manager Legislation, and the role of a pharmacist during COVID-19. These future leaders in healthcare created the below video to thank participating legislators:
